Join Network For Progress & Generation Obama-Washington, DC for our 8th & FINAL Mixer & Date Auction: “Nerds Are Sexy” Edition on U Street! That's right, after this climactic meeting of DC’s most seductive political and tech geeks we will retire from the singles business!
After doing some mixing and mingling, attendees will get a chance to bid on dates with several lovely ladies and charming gentleman with the outings sponsored by local businesses including a party excursion on the Boomerang Pirate Ship.
50% of the proceeds will benefit Code for Progress - a progressive coding community that brings new professionals like women and people of color into the field through classroom training and structured alumni programming. 2014 Fellows have been hired by organizations ranging from the DNC to the AFL-CIO to Detention Watch Network. (as seen in Fast Company) and Mayor Bowser’s Connect DC program funded 3 fellowships in 2015
